The Lucky Ones : Spring Love
Inspired by Spring Love and beautiful blooms. Torie & Kyle ‘s Engagement Session focuses on a sophisticated style combined with beautiful blooms to capture that feeling of falling in love with Spring and the new beginnings it represents.
Torie’s beautiful sun kissed look was done by make Up Artist Lisa Brown . Lisa focused on a nude palette with accents of bronze to highlight Torie’s natural beauty.
The beautiful floral designs for the shoot was done by Nikki from Bride Sidekick. She was also the wedding coordinator for these two lovebird’s big day. Focusing on a spring colour palette Nikki designed some bright and cheerful floral accessories that would make anybody swoon. My favourite was definitely the floral shawl / belt we could play around with as a fashion accessory for Torie’s outfits.
Nikki tells us a little bit more about her inspirations : “This couple is so gorgeous that I decided to do smaller in the background florals. Pastels with pops of colour are very on trend right now. Garden roses should be at the front and center this summer. Most of these blooms are grown in my garden so they naturally look more wild & natural. ”
On blossomed blankets of the fields we’d laze,
and into one another’s eyes we’d gaze,
my love and I, as April had her fling.
I dreamed a butterfly.
