Inspired by the use of only locally sourced florals and sustainable floristry this Bridal Shoot became a great representation of what 2020 is all about: “Less is More” & “Quality over Quantity”. For many brides, 2020 was a shocker. Engaged Couples had to downscale or postpone their dream weddings due to the pandemic and yet from it all, we saw a growth of the micro wedding concept. By focusing on what is important on your big day you can still have the dream wedding you’ve always wanted, but maybe not for as many people as you had planned. Downscaling your guest list is one of the biggest ways to still have a luxury High-End wedding experience without breaking the bank.

From ceremony to reception set designs, the talented Mabel M Florals and her protege Ntsoaki from Airy & Lush turned one area at Nooitgedacht Estate into a whimsical setting. Perfect for the bride who loves lush florals and attention to details. Pinks, peaches and soft creams with touches of dove grey form a classic colour palette.

Each flower delicately dances in its place as it comfortably forms part of an artful design foam-free arrangement. Not only do foam-free floral designs mean more freedom in the movement of the florals, but florists can use fewer flowers to achieve a lush and high-end look.
