Fairytales are made from this

It is with great excitement that I share the full post of Nadine & Dale’s beautiful Vrede en Lust Estate Wedding. Encompassing three of my favourite things: Fairytales, Fashion and a real love story. This day was magical from beginning to end with me just in awe of not how in love these two were but how perfect they are for each other in every way. A real #perfectpear {no spelling mistake..pears were the theme for the day T }.

From Durban to Dubai and all around; this beautifully planned destination wedding for Dale & Nadine was a fairytale moment to the start of their forever.

During their getting ready time I noticed Nadine’s love for the details with beautiful and thoughtful little gifts to all the special people in their lives. They even had matching monogrammed Burberry His & Hers perfumes which added that special touch to their wedding details. We also had to just have to take a moment for those Sophia Webster Angel Winged High Heels Nadine wore during her getting ready session with a delicate chantilly lace robe.

The groomsmen and groom were having loads of fun getting ready, reminiscing about their youth over some whiskey and cigars in the stately manor house when the groom received a surprise gift from his bride-to-be. A special custom token of Cape Town.

Nadine travelled to find the dress of her dreams and this custom couture creation was beautifully crafted by Jean Nalida. Every detail is lovingly made here in South Africa’s Garden Route, not even the boutiques of Dubai & Italy could compare. The floral decals and layers of flowy fabric added that touch of Princess elegance any girl would love for her wedding day. Paired with her lucky blue Christian Louboutin heels for her “something blue” this bride was set to make her way down the aisle in style.

Lush white florals and touches of rose gold and yes, some golden pears made up the decor theme of this beautiful day. The full white floral wall for the open-air ceremony was the perfect touch to all the delicate decor details throughout the venue.

Canape hour was magically set in the formal garden area of the estate accompanied by a string quartet. Guests mingled under the canopy of the old oaks and a good time was enjoyed by all, while the couple and I slipped away for their portraits around the estate as the bright summer sky turned into a glowy pastel pink sky before the festivities started.

From start to finish, this day was filled with celebratory moments and despite being 35 weeks pregnant the vibe of the evening was too contagious not to enjoy and we even had some time to fit in a night shoot for the couple to add to the vogue look and feel of the day.

Thank you to my wonderful husband for assisting with his first wedding ever, it might have to become a permanent arrangement and to Angelique for always being my extra set of eyes and brain. Especially considering I was 35 weeks pregnant and it was a shocker of a hot day in the Boland.
