From the moment guests stepped into Casa Maffuro, the atmosphere was set for an unforgettable day. Instead of the traditional structure, Janina and Jorge focused on creating an experience their guests would never forget—keeping formalities to a minimum while elevating the experience with personalized touches.
The monochrome theme ran throughout the day, from the chic décor to the couple’s stylish ensembles. Janina looked radiant in a modern, gown that spoke to her classic taste, while Jorge's classic black tux perfectly complemented the day’s aesthetic. Together, they were the epitome of understated luxury.
Food was at the heart of this celebration. An abundant feast was presented, offering a variety of flavours that kept everyone satisfied from start to finish. Guests mingled freely, sipping on signature cocktails, while the tequila—an unspoken star of the show—flowed freely. The couple made sure the energy remained high, with spontaneous moments of joy and laughter, celebrating love.
Edna’s design vision truly came to life in every detail. The spaces at Casa Maffuro were elegantly arranged, maintaining the couple’s desire for simplicity, but ensuring there was still a sense of grandeur. The groom ended the evening off with a rockstar music-infused speech that was one for the books. We were taken on a medley of songs signifying key moments in their relationship and that held special meaning to them both. But just before we were to leave them to party the night away, we were all surprised by a perfectly orchestrated proposal for a close friend to the bride. The perfect end to a perfect day.
